The Task Ahead

“Visions of a New World”
For those who are familiar with
the historical interaction between the white and Black race over the last four
hundred years, I’m sure all would be in agreement that for the Black race, this
interaction has been one of extreme death, deprivation and systematic
exploitation unmatched in the annals of world civilization. Stretching from the first time white
explorers from Europe began plotting and actualizing the use of our ancestors as
chattel property, by capturing and scattering us throughout the western
hemisphere and then colonizing and controlling the remainder of Africa,
millions upon millions of us have suffered under the ruthless rulership of the
white world.
This horrid reality and
relationship which began in the 1500s continues even unto today when one
observes what is happening to the Black race in the United States, Brazil, the
West Indies, Africa and other parts of the world. This reality is exemplified by the AIDS epidemic (germ warfare),
drug infestation, constant police brutality and harassment, wholesale
imprisonment of our youth, starvation, political underrepresentation, economic
exploitation, the creation of a racial inferiority complex, miseducation,
illiteracy and a host of other negative social ills caused and created by the
white world rulership.
Given this situation today, one
would be hard pressed to say that this relationship between the white and Black
race will ever change. For those who
believe in a Supreme Being, one logically must ask, “Have we been
forsaken?” However, it is my firm
belief that as a race, we can take comfort in the fact that there will be a new
day, a new era, a new world of splendid glory as a living testimony to the
power and spirit of our Creator. This
will be evident in the rise of the Black race in the upcoming 21st
century, which begins only seven years from now.
This statement that the Black
race will completely break the shackles of white rulership in the 21st
century is based on the following rationale: One is that history is on the side
of us because never in the recordings of mankind has any civilization stood the
test of time, especially those reeking of evil. Remember, the Babylonian and Roman empires. The second reason is the Creator is good and
just. Therefore in His scheme of
creation, when our time has arrived he will allow us to come into power and no
technological or military wizardry of the white world will be able to thwart
His will.
Furthermore, the Bible teaches,
“One day with the Lord is like one thousand years and a thousand years is like
one day.” Hence, our five hundred years
of suffering under white rulership is comparable to a half-day punishment of
our race for whatever wrongs were committed by our ancestors. I submit that wrong was allowing the white
race to gain control.
Yet, in order for this new day, new era, new world of splendid glory for the Black race to occur, we must not simply rely on faith, because again the Bible teaches, “Faith, if it hath not works is dead being alone.” Accordingly, we must get busy as a race. What must we do? First, each individual must get in tune with their Creator to seek wisdom, knowledge, understanding, strength, and courage and begin exemplifying these most worthy qualities. Secondly, each individual must commit to rebuilding and solidifying the family structure. Thirdly, each individual must join forces with others of like-mind, spirit and commitment in an organization whose sole purpose is the spiritual, economic, political, cultural, educational, and technological advancement of the Black race. Anything less will mean continued suffering and subjugation. Thus, we must have and work toward “Vision of a New World.”
